Urbanization refers to a process in which an increasing proportion of an entire population lives in cities and the suburbs of cities.  Historically, it has been closely connected with industrialization.  When more and more inanimate sources of energy were used to enhance human productivity (industrialization), surpluses increased in both agriculture and industry.  Larger and larger proportions of a population could live in cities.   Economic forces were such that cities became the ideal places to locate factories and their workers.
                              The Indian Economy has been one of the fastest growing  economies of the world. Real India is rural India, but urban areas are more developed and industrialized than the rural areas. The basic needs attract the people to the urban areas. All the facilities like - transport services, housing, hospital, education, drainage facilities as well as more production of other goods are available in urban areas. But there are good and bad impacts of these facilities or economic, political, social, cultural and environmental factors also. Every year College conducts various activities of environment awareness under NSS, NCC .As a part of urbanization, we are using the resources either collectively or individually. In the modern world of changing  life Style, we can think of various small actions which can be made more rational and sustainable towards the environment and nature. And that is the main purpose of this seminar.

Islam

Islam

Prophet Mohammad tried to formulate a religion and state starting from Medina and left a huge community composed of several hundreds of lacs of adherent's faith in his doctrine and furthering the basic pursuit.
'Quran' is a code of human conduct depicted basically and fully for perfection of human behaviour.It teaches that life of world and thereafter is a single entity, manifestation of belief in God and life on the other hand is gift of God.Righteousness is chord of our conduct as said in 'Quran' and 'Sunnah' explains the do's and dont's for all of us.We have to be positive and dynamic, when there is doubt we should concentrate and try to imitate God.To implement it properly we should acquire knowledge as a matter of duty, continue to expand it and utilize it for our own welfare as well as welfare of the society and mankind.This is how Islam aims at establishing society, free of malice and hatred, disruption and imbalance, inequality and disparity, in which man could live in harmony with his creator and creation.

Peace Be On Him

Peace Be On Him

Mohammad, peace be on his name, was born on 22nd April 571 AD and died on 8th June 632 AD.Tolerance, forbearance, truthfulness, understanding of men and matters were exhibited in his personality since childhood.He has a very balanced personality and noble example of greatness.He was called the unfailing trustee, al-amin.No criticism provoked him nor any praise made him vein.He was a great non-confrontationist and removed away from the area of conflict and diverted his energies to the peaceful purposes only.
After his marriage it is said that he always remained thoughtful and sought the answers to the questions irresistibly arising within him-reality among all appearance of the world, to what aim I am destined, has my life a purpose and where from I came, were some of them.
After discovery, this answer can be composed out of his vision, sayings and his works.Lord has commanded certain things:-
* Fear god openly and secretly
* Follow justice even in the state of anger.
* Moderation in poverty and affluence.
* To affiliate with those who can asunder friendship,
* Forgive oppressors.
* Silence of meditation.
* Speech of remembrances of God.
* See for admonition only.
These are the words in which life of Mohammad Sahib is reflected and exhibited.
He also emphasised that a gentleman should have some moments of his own in which he should commune with God, moment when he is his own assessor and visionary of what is going on and what has to come.The prophet of Islam was a man quite like other men on this Earth but certainly he was more human, humane, forgiving and special because of this perfection.Things of joy must have pleased him while sad things must have sadden but his humanness would have never exceeded limits fixed by God.Whenever he was sorry and weeping and there was anguish in his heart, he never said anything that may displease God.He never asserted distinction over his companions and said that it is first lesson of his faith.
Mohammad Sahib spoke very little and called himself servant of God.Fear of God never left him and he was always a picture of humanity and weakness.The truth he revealed was that the universe did not spring up by itself, it is creation of God.The death does not make a man extinct, it is a gateway for permanent life for good doing people and hell for evil doers.You will die as sleep and wake up at dawn, only you have to render account of your deeds.It goes to prove that relationship between God and man demands constant fear of God and consciousness of it hereafter, seeing his sign in every particle and believing that final reference of all matter is to God.The obsession of greatness of God should be such that our own importance appears ridiculous to us.

Real Meaning of Islam

Islam is the name of belief in one God, five prayers everyday, fast of Ramadan every year, one journey in life to Mecca and paying poor due.It is important to understand life and teachings of Mohammad, the last prophet of mankind who exhibited all that by comprehensive behaviour in this world before the masses and contemporary.
According to Islam, death is temporal transmigration of the soul, of eternity.Life of this world thus our present life is no end in itself but a means to something higher in pursuit.Only humans are bestowed by morality amongst all the plants and creatures because humans are made of matter and soul which is conscious element.No act can be called moral unless it is conscious and confirms with moral authority, as given in "Quran".Personal motives govern an act but it is sure that actions will be judged according to intentions, as Prophet declared very clearly.This is real meaning of Islam.

Applied Love

Applied Love

Life is exhibited by love, inspiration, faith and encouragement. Test of success of life is loving not winning. Then what is life? Life is ceaseless pouring which makes blossom possible in this world. It is identified and acted upon by love.The love which does not rely on physical eyes so it is also called blind infact conscious love lights weary world.
God ignores nothing in the creation but what can never be ignored by god is perhaps faith. Faith had power to see the invisible, believe the incredible and finally receives what is otherwise impossible. That is why faith givers and hope makers live forever in the society and history where everything else even the glorious and most successful are like air bubbles in the water tank. Prosperity, hatred and proud kill eternal piece, real happiness and true love.If there is a heaven, it is resevered for peaceful and loving. Let us make life not living discarding rules and values which are not ours.

soul

Soul has no impression except when it plays with matter.We are all souls with body not bodies with soul.Consciousness of soul, as depicted in Vedas and Upanishads, is non-physical yet it is behind all lives.
Simply concentrate on one thing, a single object or word.Repeat it silently, do it with a substrate of incoming and outgoing breath.You will see and feel sparkles, this is some sort of realization.Whenever you do it, give yourself fully and do not allow thoughts and commitments of mind.Know from where you think and analyse the thinking mind.It is said when our sense organs become dilated and ineffective in darkness it is sleep but when they are lost in light it is deep meditation and beginning enlightenment.
Our mind, body and the whole world emanate in soul which is comparable to a faculty of mind and there only they get extinguished also.It is mind which gives birth to the view and the viewer.Concentration on incoming and outgoing breath gradually removes commitments of the so called mind and finally doer ship is dilated.It is sure to kill the desire of pleasure gradually in our life and good deed will automatically come in.Thus your work will become vehicle to realize the truth.It is selfless work synonym of salvation.

LPG gas cylinder's expiry date....!!

Something we use but we don’t know!
Have U ever heard about LPG gas cylinder's expiry date....!!

cid:image001.gif@01CAD595.33846B00
Do you know that there is an expiry date (physical life) for LPG cylinders? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard, please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the vendor.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -
1. A for March (First Qtr),
2. B for June (Second Qtr),
3. C for Sept (Third Qtr),
4. D for December (Fourth Qtr).

The digits stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.
Please Return Back the Cylinder that you get with a Expiry Date, they are prone to Leak and other Hazardous accidents ...

cid:image002.jpg@01CAD595.33846B00

cid:image003.jpg@01CAD595.33846B00

The second example with D13 allows the cylinder to be in use until Dec 2013.
Kindly pass this to everyone,
and create awareness among ALL.
