On April 24, 2024,
the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Media
Communication: Politics of Language, and Culture” will be held at the
Faculty of International Journalism of the Uzbekistan State World Languages
University, organized by the Department of Linguistic Support of Intercultural
Communication. The conference
welcomes specialists in the field, leading researchers, professors, doctoral
students, independent scholars, master’s students, and talented students to
participate. The conference proceedings will be published in electronic format.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss theoretical and practical issues
in journalism, media communication, medialinguistics, and language teaching, as
well as to explore the current trends in professional translation, the challenges
of communication in the digital age, the utilization of innovative pedagogical
technologies in teaching foreign languages, and the improvement of foreign
language teaching methodologies. Participants will have the opportunity to
share their thoughts and experiences on these topics.
Topics for discussion at the conference
include:

Media Communication: The role of print and electronic media in creating media
content.
•
Sociolinguistics and linguistic research in the field of medialinguistics:
Issues of language development.
•
Contemporary directions in linguistic research: Relevant issues and future
prospects.
•
Innovative technologies in foreign language teaching.
Scientific articles will be accepted until
April 22, 2024.
The following requirements are set for the
scientific articles submitted for inclusion in the conference proceedings:

Scientific
articles should be submitted in a relevant field of the conference, based on
scientific analysis and developed ideas, and should include appropriate suggestions
and recommendations. The articles should be written in a clear and concise
manner, without linguistic or stylistic errors. The conference proceedings can
be presented in Uzbek, Russian, or English languages.
- The text of scientific articles should be
formatted on A4-size pages with top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm, left margin
of 3 cm, and right margin of 1.5 cm. The title of the article should be written
in capital letters, followed by the author's first name and last name with an
interval of 1 line. Then the author's affiliation and position are indicated.
After that, a single line spacing is used, and the content of the text should
be written with a line spacing of 1.5 using the Times New Roman font, size 14. The article should be between 3 and 5 pages in length.

The
scientific article should be submitted in electronic form to the organizing
committee (via email address or Telegram contact provided below).

Participants
who present their articles at the conference will be awarded certificates, while
participants who submit abstracts will be able to participate free of charge.

The
conference participants will be recognized with certificates and will have the
opportunity to receive acknowledgments and awards.

Participating
in the conference with abstracts is FREE
of charge.
The organizing committee has the right to
review and select scientific articles.
