HINDI Dept. Of K.M.AGRAWAL COLLEGE OF ARTS, COMMERCE & SCIENCE, KALYAN (WEST), DIST. THANE, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA (www.kmagrawalcollege.org) Is organising UGC Sponsored Two Day International Conference on WEB MEDIA AND GLOBAL SCENARIO OF HINDI , 11^th-12^th January 2013.

HINDI is the official language of the conference but one can present his paper in ENGLISH and MARATHI also. We welcome paper submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit full (and original research) papers which is NOT submitted/published/under consideration anywhere in other conferences/journal.

विश्व हिंदी सचिवालय द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय हिंदी कहानी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन

विश्व हिंदी सचिवालय द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय हिंदी कहानी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जा रहा है । जानकारी निम्नानुसार है -
प्रथम पुरस्कार : 800 अमेरिकी डॉलर
द्वितीय पुरस्कार : 500 अमेरिकी डॉलर
तृतीय पुरस्कार : 300 अमेरिकी

डॉलर
10 सांत्वना पुरस्कार : 100 अमेरिकी डालर

नियम व शर्तें :
कहानी देवनागरी लिपि में साफ़-साफ़ हस्तलिखित अथवा टंकित हो । एक प्रतियोगी से केवल एक ही कहानी स्वीकृत की जाएगी । प्रत्येक प्रविष्टि अप्रकाशित मौलिक रचना हो एवं कॉपीराइट से स्वतंत्र हो । प्रत्येक प्रविष्टि छद्म नाम से हस्ताक्षरित हो । प्रतियोगी का नाम, पता, फ़ोन नंबर तथा छद्म नाम एक अलग बंद लिफ़ाफ़े में डालकर उसे मुख्य लिफ़ाफ़े में संलग्न करना चाहिए । मुख्य लिफ़ाफ़े पर 'अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी कहानी प्रतियोगिता' लिखा होना चाहिए । शब्द संख्या : अधिकतम 5,000 । विजेताओं की कहानियाँ सचिवालय की भावी साहित्यिक पत्रिका व वेबसाइट पर प्रकाशित की जाएँगी । जूरी का निर्णय अंतिम होगा । कहानी 10 नवंबर, 2012 तक World Hindi Secretariat, Swift Lane, Forest Side, Mauritius पहुँच जानी चाहिए ।

To learn Hindi, Chinese turn to Ramayana

AHMEDABAD: Students at universities in China are getting lessons on human values from the great Hindu epic - Ramayana.

Wise sayings from Valmiki's text are being adapted by the universities teaching Hindi in China and are being made relevant to the current world situations. At least six leading universities in China including the prestigious Peking University, the Beijing Foreign Studies University as well as colleges in different parts of China are teaching Hindi, which has become a popular foreign language in China.
